MIDWorld is a library of routines for the FutureBasic development environment designed to facilitate music playing in your program. It was initially designed for game purposes and only supported MIDI music initially, however it can now play just about any kind of file that QuickTime supports, inlcuding mp3 and AAC audio. Its use is not limited to games and the routines are quite simple and straightforward.

Due to lack of money and time, I have been forced to open source the library because people use it enough that it must be maintained, however I can no longer do so. So now its up to you guys.

MIDWorld comes in the form on two source code files that link in with your project. The routines are exceptionally easy to use by any reasonable standard. The package comes with a significant set of examples that should give you several ideas on how to use the library.
