Menu cracker is a little tool to reenable the menu extra that Apple closed in Mac OS X 10.2 (code named Jaguar). Using MenuCracker you can use all your 10.1 Menu Extras unmodified.

If you are a developer and your menu extra is controlled by an application there is some work for you to do. First add the MenuCracker binary to the resource folder of your application or preference pane.
