You've got a nice digital camera and you bought one of those really neat printers that let you print high-quality pictures directly from your camera (without going through the computer). Everything was working great ... until ... you took a precious photo that had "red-eye" (as a common example). So you imported the picture into iPhoto and fixed it.

But now ... how do you get the picture back onto your camera to print it ?!?! Or ... you think you've copied/exported it back to the camera but it doesn't show up in the view-finder. What happened? Well, there are very strict rules that cameras (and printers and retail kiosks) use to store and retrieve valid pictures. If any of these rules aren't followed, the picture may not be processed.

If you don't want to take the time to figure things out ... iPhoto Copy Companion comes to the rescue! With your camera† (or memory card reader) connected to your Mac, simply drag-and-drop the desired picture(s) from iPhoto to iPhoto Copy Companion's "IMAGE NAME" box and click the "Copy to your media card" button. After you've copied the picture(s), simply connect your camera to the printer and print it out like you did before.

NOTE: Some cameras may not work this way. Only cameras that mount as a volume on the desktop will work with iPhoto Copy Companion. If your camera doesn't show up on the desktop, you will need to get a card reader to transfer pictures back to the camera using iPhoto Copy Companion.

Limitations:
30 day trial.

What's New:
NEW FEATURE
Provides an option to embed the picture's date on the image to be printed. [It doesn't alter the original image in iPhoto.] The date is obtained from the file's creation date as reported by the system.
NEW FEATURE
Adds the ability to show embedded EXIF information from multiple image files simultaneously, shown side-by-side. iPhoto only shows info for an individual picture.
NEW FEATURE
Each picture is now checked for its dimensions when dragged into iC2. If it's smaller than 640x480, the item will be highlighted in red* and unchecked in the list. This is useful since 4x6 prints start getting blurry at around 640x480. It is also useful for people whose library contains images from cell phones, web cams, or other sources that generate “small” images.
* The shade of “red” will vary depending on the size of the image. For example, a 32x24 image will be highlighted in bright red whereas a 640x480 image will be highlighted in light pink.
NEW FEATURE
Click on the Thumbnail image to see a bigger version in a new window. This is particularly useful when the date is embedded in the image. When the Thumbnail is clicked, the window will be shown (or hidden if already visible).
MISC
Improved the Copy function to minimize the potential for iPhoto to import the pictures back into your library.
MISC
Changed the behavior of some windows. Certain windows now slide out from the side of the main window. Other windows now have the red OSX Close button disabled to prevent unhandled closing.
MISC
Disabled the iPhoto autolaunch Preference option (previously available in v1Rx) due to sporadic behavior under various conditions. This feature may be re-enabled or deleted entirely in the future.
BUG FIX
Prior Trial users are no longer prevented from running an update/upgrade if the original trial period has expired (trial users only; licensed customers not affected).
BUG FIX
Fixed a bug where the Thumbnail image would disappear when the main window became inactive.
BUG FIX
Fixed an issue where the image list box would draw a checkbox outside the bottom of the list if it had more than 10 items.
