iData 2 is an easy-to-use database application for storing text and graphics. It is also very flexible and user-configurable. It can store information in either freeform or field-based formats, and makes it very easy to store and retrieve information. Great for grabbing web page bookmarks or linking to files on disk.

Here are some key features of "iData":
Batch Label Printing
Design your own labels with photos, and graphic elements and print a batch of labels from addresses in an iData 2 datafile.

Single Label Printing
Print a quick label, with an address in the current record or the clipboard, using the template of your choice.

Batch Envelope Printing
Create templates with your return address and decorate them with photos, graphic elements, or messages. Print batches from addresses in an iData 2 datafile.

Single Envelope Printing
Print a quick envelope, with the address in the current record or in the clipboard, using the template of your choice.

Service for Grab URL with Selected Text
Now, in most Web browsers, you can highlight some text and select Grab URL and Selection in the Services submenu. The Web page address, page title and selected text will be added to a new record in a datafile you have chosen in the iData 2 Preferences.

Service for Adding Selected Text
Now, in any application that has editable text, you can highlight some text and select Send Selection to iData in the Services submenu. The selected text will be copied and added to a new record in a datafile you have chosen in the iData 2 Preferences.

What's New:

Changes:

Added Show "Now Dialing" Sheet item to Dialing Preferences. When this item is enabled, iData will display a sheet showing the phone number that is currently being dialed.
Added Always Open to Last Record item to Datafile Settings.
Added Use Custom Setting for Standard Date sorting item to Datafile Settings. This is for use by anyone who has created up a Custom date format setting in the International System Preferences that does not match the default for their System language.
In freeform datafiles, the field area now defaults to 3 pixels, instead of 300.
QucikDEX II card deck files no longer need to have a file name extension in order for iData 3 to recognize them.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed bug where Remove Blank Lines at Beginning command failed to remove carriage returns in older imported data.
