The FreeShape iMovie Plug-ins are a set of free plug-ins for iMovie that use the Effect Shop engine for rendering. The FreeShape Plug-ins are written in a simple scripting language so that you can develop your own iMovie plug-ins, or share plug-ins with other users on the internet - all for free.
The FreeShape iMovie Plug-ins include a demo version of the Effect Shop iMovie Plug-in.
The following plug-ins are included with FreeShape:
Titles
Orbiting Text
Rotates text into the frame by orbiting around a globe.
Ruled Text
Animated rules accompany titles as they enter and leave the frame.
Drop In
Drops text carved from a solid block into the scene with an animated thud.
Space Scroll
Scrolls text into the distance.
Space Warp
Text pairs warp into the frame, drift, and then slide out smoothly.
Transitions
Flying Cube
Video projected onto a cube flies into or out of the frame.
Rotating Cube
One clip rotates out of the frame revealing another clip on the face of a virtual cube.
Fold In
One clip folds in from the borders of the frame to hide another.
Fold Out
One clip folds out to the borders of the frame revealing another.
Flip
Flip a video clip over to reveal another on its back side.
Effects
Overlay
Overlays a still image or video on top of the selected clip.
Key Overlay
Like the regular overlay but makes a key colour in the overlay transparent.
Fish Eye
Distort video by projecting it through a fish eye lens.
Zoom
Zoom in on a video clip to view one region of the clip.
Edges
Three new edge filters find horizontal, vertical and fine edges.
