Launcher is similar to the well known feature in Windows by the name of “Run”, the Launcher provides a text box for you to type in what app you’d like to run.

Type in the name, and click “Launch It!” Boom. It’s open. There’s also a nifty “Close It!” button. Oh, and should you choose, click on “Display Processes”, and it’ll open up Activity Monitor.
