KopyMac is perfect for those who need to copy files to DOS formatted disks and SMB shares. Doing this only using Mac OS X would result in odd errors (-50) and would produce strange hidden files (Filetype and Creator codes) with the ._ appendage.
Not only are these ._ files annoying they can also malfunction digital devices such as digital cameras and mp3 players! KopyMac will transfer files avoiding the -50 error, it also handles filename conversion and illegal characters making file copy smoother and more convenient.
What's New:
Versino 2.6.1b: Added "Clean" button which will remove ._ files, and .DS_Store files. This is great for users who have allready copied their files to DOS volumes not using KopyMac. KopyMac automatically performs this action when files are passed through it.
