XgridLite, an add-on for Mac OS X Tiger's System Preferences application, enables Apple's Xgrid distributed computing solution on the standard version of Mac OS X Tiger.

If you don't need the advanced features of Mac OS X Tiger Server's Xgrid controller but still want to run your own grid, XgridLite is for you.

With XgridLite, you can:
- Turn on and off the built-in Xgrid controller with a single click.
- Set passwords for client and agent authentication.
- Reset the controller to default settings.
- Find XgridLite with Spotlight.

What's New:
XgridLite is now a Universal Binary: it runs on both PowerPC- and Intel-based Macs.
