WriteTalk 1.1 is kids software developed by WriteTalk.
Let your kids use your computer. This is a blank green screen. Let them play with the keyboard. They see and hear the letter sounds they press. If they press space after a word, it prounounces the word correctly rather than phonetically.
They can use backspace and change letters to get it to sound exactly right, and try to make the computer talk to them.
This education software is shareware, which means you can download and use WriteTalk 1.1 for free during the trial period (usually for 30 days). At the expiration of the period you will have to buy the kids product for $25.00. WriteTalk 1.1 is available at regnow and WriteTalk website.
WriteTalk 1.1 supports different languages (including English). It works with Windows XP/Vista.
