Windolene is Miniapp that stores and restores Finder window settings. In other words, you can set Windolene to remember which windows are open, the size of those windows, which ones are window-shaded, and which ones are designated as popup windows.

After a working session you can quickly restore the window settings to your stored defaults using Windolene.

Windolene can be useful in times of memory failure - where all your windows and popup windows can close and disappear, or just to ensure your favorite windows are open and ready at time of startup.
