If so, Timidity++ is for you!
Timidity++ is a command-line program that will convert the following file types to WAV (which you can then convert to the MP3 format in iTunes):

• MIDI (.mid)
• MOD (.mod)
• XM (.xm)
• IT (.it)
• S3M (.s3m)

Note that Timidity++ does not currently convert the MAD (.mad) file type.

If you experience any problems running this program, your system curses library may be out of date; contact me and I'll send you the latest copy of the ncurses library. Most people should have no trouble, however.

What's New:
This version has been recompiled to take into account some default path changes in the underlying BSD subsystem, and includes instructions for the removal of the old executable and help files.
