You would think this works with any version of the Mac OS, and perhaps it does. Anyway the important thing to know is that it will not fail in normal execution.

Throw out yer Trash ignores the default checkmark placed on "Warn Before Emptying" in the Trash's Get Info window.

It will, however, fail and show an error message with a really large scary negative error number when run with a locked item inside the Trash. No harm will come to you and yourn.
