SimpleChord is a quick, handy reference to chords for musicians. It can aid in learning new chords, building progressions, transcribing, and other tasks.

It displays the notes in a chord, their positions on the keyboard, and can even play the chord aloud.

Here are some key features of "SimpleChord":
SimpleChord has plenty of chords for you to look up or browse through. From power chords to jazz chords, it's there. New in version 3, you can apply inversions to chords and find a chord based on its notes.
You can create progressions of chords right from within SimpleChord either to try them on for size or to use for accompanyment.
Have an iPod? SimpleChord can build a database and save it on your iPod as text notes so you can easily look up chords on-the-go. Your progressions are also synched onto your iPod and linked with your music library.
You can use SimpleChord with your MIDI keyboard to choose chords that work with your melodies.

Limitations:
Reminder screens.

What's New:
More chords: flattened fifths, 6/9s, suspensions, and more.
New "Chord Info" palette displays intervals, notes, and half-steps.
MIDI exporting of progressions
Looped playback of progressions
New keyboard: now scrollable, resizable, and pretty.
Major interface enhancements.
ChordPro importing.
