Today's presentation software is simply too complex for some uses. When all you want to do is show a series of images, why should you have to fire up a gigantic multipurpose application? Why put the effort into making a PowerPoint slideshow to share some photographs? You didn't have to back in the classic Mac OS, and now you don't have to today!
Let the computer do the work for you! There are times you don't need fancy backgrounds or drool-worthy OpenGL morphs or anything but the ability to move between slides. Many of us recall such a tool from the days of yore. Some of us are even still running it in Classic today because we couldn't find a Mac OS X replacement.
