HD and SD. 4:3 and 16:9. Native support for multiple third-party codecs in one timeline. Finally, an HD solution that works the way you do—mixing multiple sources, handling multiple file formats and delivering multiple versions.
Media 100 HD was built not only to bridge the HD/SD gap, but also to serve as the hub for digital post.
Start with legacy Media 100 i content. Add a healthy serving of content in the FCP 10-bit codec—added to the same timeline without importing or rerendering. Now mix some native DV. All these codec's play in the same timeline with stunning quality and in real time. Uprez your SD to HD during capture or output and monitor 16:9 upconverts and 4:3 downconverts while you edit.
Built on the familiar Media 100 i interface, Media 100 HD also offers powerful new features like a multi-track timeline, advanced keying and a motion alpha channel that is real-time in SD and accelerated in HD. Quite simply, Media 100 HD is the editing system you've been waiting for.
