Ishmael is a tool for adding narration to still photographs and PDF files to create video footage. It leverages existing Mac software to allow you to easily generate video from these sources. Other tools allow you capture your voice, but Ishmael makes it simpler and faster to synchronize your voice to your source images.
Uses:
• DVD Newsletters — Share your life with family and friends by narrating your story over your digital pictures and artwork.
• Documentary Work — Ishmael can assist you in the timing for your production using a story board or actual source stills.
• Podcasting — Ishmael helps you to create "video" podcasts for video iPods and iTunes with high quality audio automatically synchronized to your photos/slides.

Flexible — Whether you are doing standard video or HD, Ishmael gives you footage in the format you need. You can also store your image timings in a document, and later export stored recordings in any of the supported formats if your needs change.
Apple Friendly — Ishmael works with the programs you know: iPhoto, iLife, and Final Cut. It uses PDF and QuickTime file formats for high compatibility on the Mac OS X platform. If your program can export PDF or import QuickTime movies, the odds are good that Ishmael will work with it.
