Utilizing industry standard charts, inCamera creates a custom ICC digital camera or scanner profile by evaluating the color data captured by the camera or scanner and comparing the data to the known color values of the charts. This profile integrates seamlessly into any ICC color managed workflow.

inCamera enables you to create custom ICC profiles for digital cameras and scanners.

inCamera is designed to help the photographer achieve consistent, predictable color with any digital camera or scanner.

The mechanics of creating a digital camera profile are quite simple. All you do is take a picture any of the supported charts under the specific lighting conditions of your photo shoot, open the image within Photoshop, launch inCamera from the Filters menu, align the flexible template over the chart in the image, and click Ok. inCamera automatically creates a custom ICC profile by comparing the colors captured by the camera to the known color values of the chart.

Then, you simply assign the profile within Photoshop to all images shot under the same conditions. As you can see, the profile not only dramatically improves the shot visually, but transforms the each of colors of the ColorChecker Chart squares with dead-on accuracy relative to the known Lab values.

What's New:
Supports NEW ColorChecker SG: Additional gray scale steps provide accurate control of camera balance
Supports the HutchColor HCT target from Hutcheson Consulting: Has around twice as many patches as IT8.7/1 & 2 (‘IT8’) targets, a better sampling of dark colors and almost three times as many gray scale steps.
Provides additional reporting on quality of image of the chart: Noise reporting and Lighting Uniformity reporting
Custom Light Source Selection for optimizing your profile for your light source: If you are using one of the ColorChecker charts and you have selected a spectral data reference file, you can optimize your profile for your light source.

Requirements:
Adobe Photoshop 6.0 – CS.
