iData is a simple database that helps you keep track of every bit of information in one central place.
Its lightning-fast search engine finds whole records of information, or bits and pieces of information.
NOTE: iData Pro is available for people who purchased iData for OS X.
What's New:
Added Dialing preference to permit the use of a bracket character to specify phone numbers. In addition, the dialing button/menu items are now always available, and if no appropriate text is found, an alert comes up to inform the user. The bracket character can be entered in the Dialing preferences dialog. We suggest something like the (backslash) character.
Added General preference to highlight the Find Box whenever a datafile window is activated (brought forward). This can cause a problem with spell checkers that paste changes into the text, as they may paste into the Find Box, but many customers requested this option.
Added options to sort field-based datafiles by standard date and by e-mail date. The standard date sort works best with straight dates that match the three styles shown in the General preferences dialog. Additional text in a field may throw things off--especially if there are numbers unrelated to the date.
When sorting field-based datafiles, we can now apply reverse sorting to either the primary or secondary field independently, as well as to both.
Added MailSmith 2 import.
Added support for the Safari Web browser.
