HTTP Scoop is an HTTP protocol analyser a.k.a. "HTTP sniffer". It passively captures HTTP conversations and presents their details in real-time.
HTTP Scoop is a great aid in diagnosing problems with web sites and web applications whatever client or server technology you use.
Any type of HTTP traffic may be captured: HTML, XML, images, executables etc.
Here are some key features of "HTTP Scoop":
Use to debug web scripts/applications
View responses as hex, text (syntax-highlighted for XML/HTML) or as images
Any browser or server technology - no proxy needed
View headers, parameters and POST data
Save responses to disk
Fully decodes HTTP (handles GZIP compression, request pipelining etc.).
Limitations:
Save Response As... menu item disabled, response text/hex views limited to 1kB.
What's New:
Now a Universal Binary
New Request/Response view (easier debugging of form/URL-encoded submissions and AJAX apps)
Now works for users with FileVault enabled or home directories on network drives
Miscellaneous bug fixes
