FTPhoto is an online ordering solution for photo labs and related industries. It provides an intuitive, simple and thorough means for the lab's customer to pick image files, and create an order with special instructions. It then uploads the files and order form to the lab's FTP server. The order form is encrypted to safely convey sensitive personal and payment information.

The download links are to a fully functional demo version. The listed price provides a release version of FTPhoto that is branded with the lab's name and logo, and targeted to a specified account on the lab's server. The lab is also supplied with an application to decode the incoming orders. Additional customization is subject to quotation.

Here are some key features of "FTPhoto":
Drag and drop of files and folders.
Thumbnail images.
Synchronization of price and service information with a server-side file
Automatic update notification.

What's New:
Improved multithreading, so the interface remains responsive even while a batch of thumbnails are being drawn, and/or the thumbnails are being rendered from large files.
The registration screen, on first launch, now offers a graceful way to quit, if the user elects to back out without filling in all the required fields. No more three-finger salute.
New format for saving order data. The order information and the thumbnail images are now embedded in a single file, instead of a folder tree. FTPhoto recognizes this file type, and distinguishes it from normal image files, allowing a saved order to be imported by double clicking or dragging.
Payment information, such as credit cards, are no longer automatically embedded in the User Profile. This is now a user option.
Clicking on the thumbnail image will now open a separate window with a larger version of the image (if it's a Quicktime-supported format.) This works in both the main and special instructions windows.
Fixed drag and drop functionality in the Mac Classic version.
Improved error reporting during problem uploads.
Now alerts the user if the file name has characters that are illegal on some if not all server types, and offers to rename them appropriately.
Major overhaul of the special instructions window.
...and, of course, the catchall phrase, "various internal improvements and bug fixes."
