eTunes (i.e. easyTunes) lets even to those who are not professional musicians to create and play their own tunes. In fact it is enough to click the piano-keys and eTunes will take care to code your inputs for the right output.
Files created by eTunes may be used as RingTones for Cellphones, or may be send to anybody to listen to. And since eTunes is available for both Windows and Apple-Macintosh platforms, its files can be easily reproduced on both platforms. Since playing notes is a very CPU-expensive job, there is an option to slightly reduce CPU-usage. On the other end, music you are going to write are expected to last a few seconds only, so CPU-usage should not really be a problem.
