There is no simple way in the Finder to erase a CD-RW or DVD±RW. You have to open «Disc Utility» and navigate in a lot of menus to do that. With EraseCMPlugIn, you just have to right-click on the erasable media and choose «Erase CD-RW…».

With this contextual menu plug-in, you can erase your medias directly in the Finder.
