The Digest a Thread E 1.1 script will delete all messages of a particular subject thread from the folder or Inbox where they have been saved, and will create a digest that incorporates every message in the thread.
It gets rid of any quoting of previous messages in later messages when the quoting is by quote characters >, since you will already have the quoted messages in the thread, and the preceding attribution line for the quoted text.
The individual messages in the digest are separated by dashed lines, and each has an attribution line with the sender's name and email address and the time the message was sent.
The digest itself bears the name and email address of the sender, date and time of the last message in the thread.
What's New:
Works with message threads in IMAP account folders too, and requires Jon’s Commands scripting addition to choose a local folder other than the local Inbox for the Thread messages (they cannot be made in an IMAP folder).
