CrowMatrix is a plugin for Marketcircle's DayLite CRM application that calculates the distances between a selected group of DayLite contacts. Using latitude/longitude data from over 40, US and 750, Canadian zip codes, CrowMatrix calculates distance using the 'as the crow flies' method. Each selected DayLite contact that has a valid default address and zip code can be selected and used with CrowMatrix. The generated distance matrix is similar to the distance tables one might find on many maps.
In CrowMatrix for Daylite 3, the matrix is now opened in your default browser as a web page to be saved for later use. From the matrix users can click the intersection links to view driving directions between the associated contacts. It is important to note that direction distances are generally slightly longer, depending on the directness of the chosen route.
