Delta Tao has discontinued development of the 68k version of Clan Lord. If you've been running the 68k or fat version, first try upgrading to the PPC or OSX version from the Mac client download page, or if you're running in an emulator, try the native Windows client instead. If you're really still running Clan Lord on a 68K Mac, a computer more than 11 years old, Delta Tao has offered to purchase a G3 iMac for you, free of charge, so you can keep playing. Character name changes are now permitted, with some restrictions. You can't change your name if you wouldn't be able to delete the character, nor if you wouldn't be able to start again at Resetus. (Roughly speaking, that means you can't have pending jail time or banishment, or too much bad karma.) There is a fee of $9.95 for each character's name changed, because Ann or Joe has to do it by hand. Email Joe to arrange a name change.
