ChronoSync is an easy to use data management tool that allows you to efficiently synchronize files and folders from one disk location to another.

Using the document-based interface, you can easily identify a group of files, specify a destination, then schedule the action to occur as often as necessary. Perform trial syncs and compare files so you always know the status of every file. Filter out specific files and folders using rules and exclusions. Archive deleted files in case you need to restore an older version. ChronoSync monitors the state of all your files so it only copies files that have been changed, keeping your synchronization time to a minimum.

Whether you are doing a simple backup or complex synchronization, ChronoSync is flexible enough to handle it.

Here are some key features of "ChronoSync":
Fully customizable toolbar.
All synchronization settings are stored in separate, self-contained, double-click- able documents that can be run or modified at any time.
Synchronize files in any direction or bi-directionally.
Establish simple, intermediate, or advanced rules to include or exclude files by name, size, date, extension, plus other more advanced options.
Compare files before and after synchronizations to see the status of every file.
Run trial synchronizations to check results before committing.
Special options that ignore invisible files, resolve alias, preserve folder attributes and synchronize deletions.
A complete transaction log maintains a complete history of all synchronizations run with options for exporting and printing.
Automate synchronization with a full-featured scheduler.
Schedule synchronizations to occur at launch, termination, once, or any repetitive time frame desired.
Launch ChronoSync at system startup and have it run in the background.
Use AppleScripts to automate the process even further.

Limitations:
500 file count limit.

What's New:
Fixed a Bonjour-related problem with the background scheduler when running on some Panther systems.
Fixed a bug that would not correctly preserve ownership of files inside packages when running in administrative mode.
Fixed a file permissions issue that could potentially prevent the Japanese localized version of the program from running correctly.
