For the first time, it's easy to have a good-looking, powerful, fast, and feature-rich bug tracker... that doesn't take an expert to install.
Bugdar is a rich charcol-colored, tabbed interface surrounds your bug management center.
It has been designed to be extremely user-frienly and easy to work with. All of the main controls are in tabs at the top of the screen, and bugs can be colored based on their status to make it easy to identify what reports need attention.
While other systems use nothing more than a white background with black text, Bugdar uses standards-complaint CSS and XHTML in templates. All that you have to do to modify any portion of Bugdar's interface is merely edit cleanly-composed XHTML or modify one of the CSS definitions.
Bugdar comes with a set of the most commonly-used fields in bug reporting. However, we recognize that you—and your organization—may have special needs; because of this, Bugdar has a feature to allow you to create your own custom fields. With this feature, you can define additional options for reports that can be entered and modified like any other field; they can even be searched!
Another feature is one called "Automatic Actions" which allow an administrator to define a macro. These macros can be used to set any bug fields and enter comments with one single click. Automatic actions allow users to use one of these defined actions to make managing bugs easier. For instance, one could be defined to mark a bug "Closed and Fixed" and then leave a comment; with an automatic action, all this can be done with one click.
Here are some key features of "Bugdar":
