Approximately 1.5 million American high-school seniors are applying to college for the academic year of 2006. Most of them have seen something like this: "Please tell us what you find most appealing about [insert college name here] and why."
I certainly have. It seems like every school wants you to tell them how you've been dreaming about them since kindergarten. I don't think it's rare for high-school seniors to write one and pretty much cut-and-paste it for every application.
