BookAssembler, a control center for your publishing workflow

Based on an intuitive yet powerful digital layout planning module, BookAssembler works as a central control center to seamlessly integrate the complete publishing workflow process from flat planning, real-time production monitoring, imposition printing and Web publishing.

The publishing workflow process is controlled from the outset with intuitive planning feature. Then the jobs are assigned out to appropriate parties and monitored. Because BookAssembler utilizes PDF at its core, it can integrate any document created from virtually any application. And PDFs created from diverse environments can be all brought into a single, unified environment where you can utilize all of BookAssembler°?s power features.

The impositioning in BookAssembler is streamlined from the planning stages to the layout, actual impositioning and to the final output, leaving no room for mistakes. Even the folding of the pages is illustrated in an origami-like animation so that those who are involved in the whole process but do not know impositioning will understand intuitively how and what needs to be done.

Web publishing is another feature that operates under BookAssembler. Thus, it has access to all the PDF processing functions ? bring together a variety of documents created by a diverse set of application ? and bring them together in an eBook format that can be viewed on the web. It is a solution for creating an instant Webzine. As the PDF files are manipulated (merging pages, for example), a table of content is instantly generated to reflect the content by section, allowing a dynamic creation of multi-paged eBooks that are accurate and up-to-date
