AutoHide is a simple background application that will automatically hide applications after you switch out of them.

This is convent if you work with applications that have many windows and switch between them often. AutoHide will automatically hide your other applications, reducing screen clutter and making a cleaner work environment.

Here are some key features of "AutoHide1":
The programs listed under 'Never Hide' are applications that AutoHide™ will not hide after you switch out of them. You must have a program running in order to add it to this list
The programs listed under 'Never Hide When Switching To' are programs that when switched to, will cause the last active program to remain shown. Many users like to add programs such as Stuffit Expander to this list, so that when they are in Internet Explorer or Netscape, and the download a file, their browser is not hidden when Suffit Expander decompresses the file.
The Bypass Key allows one to bypass AutoHide on a per incident basis. This is convenient if you want to switch from a program and leave it shown, without quitting or disabling AutoHide™.
The Hot Corner is the corner from which the preferences are accessible. You always have to hold down the command key when the mouse is in the hot corner to show the preferences window. You cannot change the hot corner on multiple monitor machines.

What's New:
Fixed bug that caused error messages to be displayed in the Finder
Improved compatibility with Panther
Fixed typo in the "Added Excluded Application" window.
