Macintosh 7200-series computers and compatibles may experience choppy or accelerated sound after installing an ATI video accelerator card.

Disabling Virtual Memory in the Memory control panel may resolve this problem.

If the problem is not resolved by disabling Virtual Memory, installing the ATI Sound Catalyst system extension may correct the problem.

NOTE: If you do not experience sound problems, the ATI Sound Catalyst is not required.

Note: ATI Sound Catalyst works only on Apple 72XX series computers with an ATI video accelerator card installed.
