Aqueiss is an internet access contextual menu.

Aqueiss provides access to the internet from any application that supports contextual menus. With Aqueiss you will be able to open URL's which accept a single search argument, such as a search site or online dictionary. The value of the argument is supplied either by the current text selection or the contents of the clipboard.

In particular you can use Aqueiss for dictionary lookup at online sites and searching text selections on the internet (the default configuration). Or modify it, using System Preferences, to contain any number if URL's you like, with up to one search or path argument.

You can also use Aqueiss to open common files on your computer, or download them from various FTP servers.

The text Aqueiss uses as its "search argument" is usually provided by the application when you control-click on selected text. Some applications do not provide the selected text, and in this case you can have Aqueiss use the contents of the clipboard as an alternative. This latter feature is an option you may specify in the system preference pane for Aqueiss.

What's New:
Added internet access for FTP.
Additionally now supports the file:/// URL scheme for accessing files on your computer.
