Software for the teaching and learning of factorisation (factoring) of algebraic expressions, especially trinomials using the "cross" method. Students can practise on the "cross" method which provides extensive explanations and guidance, especially useful for beginners. It includes formulas for factorising perfect squares and difference of two squares.

Practices with simple sums to help understanding before actual practices.
Can generate hundreds of sums for drills (up to 200 per session). Step by step guide for beginners to ensure they get the correct answers. It marks the sums automically and can print a detailed report after each session.

Here are some key features of "AlgeFactors":
Choice of 3 levels of difficulty (easy, average & challenging) and sums that can be done by formulas.
Up to 200 different sums per session
A ‘Guide Me’ button which will provide students with a step-by-step guide to factorise an expression
The user can also key in his own algebraic expressions for factorisation
The guide can help the user do his homework if he keys in the sums.

Limitations:
The demo mode lets you test all the features of the software but it will automatically quit after a while and will expire in 30 sessions.
