Aabel is an original, high performance data analysis & charting application. Aabel utilizes AltiVec technology. Aabel unique pipeline architecture allows simultaneous, real-time, two way interaction between many documents and their inter-relationships.

Aabel includes: native worksheets and a database metaphor; diverse 2-D and 3-D charts; a data manipulator for data processing from Aabel worksheets and databases; statistical and multivariate data analysis methods, data filtering tools for generating subsets of data, diverse import and export formats, and publication quality graphic print output. 3D charts are drawn dynamically using OpenGL acceleration.

Here are some key features of "Aabel":
Native worksheets and a database metaphor for data storage and data management
Diverse data import formats
Easy-to-use and interactive data filtering tools comparable to a database search
Over 90 chart types with more than 200 styles of data representation
Diverse graphic export and publication quality graphic print output
Native PDF support for export, import and clipboard
Mapping from categorical data to markers and vice versa
A data manipulator
Many commonly used statistical methods and charts, and built-in multivariate data analysis methods
Text and table editors for creating styled texts and tables
Numerous chart customizing features and interactive color management
Use of error bars (one and/or two directions, symmetrical and asymmetrical)
Pre-defined regressions, as well as a non-linear/user defined curve fitting module
A PDF-based interactive online user guide.

What's New:
Aabel 3-D charts have been drawn and rotated using OpenGL for speed and real-time interactivity. This update provides the additional option of using Quartz quality graphics in 3-D column, pyramid, area, and band charts for presentation purposes, while retaining the rotation speed using OpenGL.
The maintenance fixes are provided for:
A bug triggered during the export of a thematic group using a thematic map, an X-Y chart, and an X-Y-Z contour (causing a shift in the position of the contour chart relative to borders of the thematic master)
Misplacement of regression equations (hot-linked to variables) during export, and a minor alignment bug
A print/export problem triggered in double-Y/double-X charts displaying two independent regressions applied to X1-Y1 and X2-Y2
A crash bug in number formatting in Intel, triggered while attempting to generate a bar/line plot of mean from variables having a single data entry
An Intel issue with importing custom-design date formats
A damaged menu resource, a problem affecting the superscript/subscript preference settings, and an axis synchronization issue in matrix scatter chart.
