toPositionTheDock is a small application to edit DockMenus.plist. It just adds a few lines of text which will show the extra options when you control-click the Dock (Position on screen). Now you can easily put your Dock wherever you want. DockMenus.plist is owned by the system so the app needs the admin password to edit it.

toPositionTheDock will only work in Dutch, English, French, Danish, Italian, German and Spanish so far. Send me your translation ("Top", "Left", "Right", "Bottom", "Start position", "Center", "End position") and I'll add them.

To manually undo the changes made by toPositionTheDock go to /System /Library /Coreservices /Dock.app /Contents /Resources /your_language.lproj, remove 'DockMenus.plist' and rename 'DockMenus.plist old' to 'DockMenus.plist'. Restart the Dock.

Requirements:
DockMenus.plist is owned by the system so the app needs the admin password to edit it.
