MetadataMagic reads the metadata (all of the information about the layouts, fields, scripts, value lists, relationships, etc.) directly out of your FileMaker files and populates it into an easy to use FileMaker database.
It can process an unlimited number of files (no 50-file limit) and you can navigate through your interrelated metadata with unlimited drill-down and go back capability. It's fast, it's complete, and it's fully compatible with FileMaker Pro 5.0, 5.5, and 6, and can process both FileMaker .FP3 and .FP5 files!
MetadataMagic not only extracts and displays your file references, it lets you fix them too with the File Reference Fixer!
What's New:
First version with a variant (2.0.3J) for the Japanese version of FileMaker Pro. The Japanese variant uses the Osaka font (instead of Verdana) to display your metadata.
Changed the plug-in to tolerate unicode characters in paths to the target files and the string file on Mac OS X 10.2 and up.
Added the Japanese-only functions to the strings file (eg. YearName)
Includes Conversion Issue Database v1.0.5, with some issues revised (see the revision history in the Conversion Issues Database folder for details).
