It has been designed for automatically changing various attributes of single files, all the files contained in a folder and can even apply the changes to folders inside folders to infinite depth.
Here are some key features of "Batcher":
Changable attributes:
* File Type and Creator - Associate files with any program of your choise, or fix wrong file types.
* Rename files - Rename your files in a systematic and sequential manner.
* Erase Custom Icons - Get rid of those annoying custom icons that some applications attach to files.
* Visibility - Hide your files by making them invisible, or make invisible files visible again.
* Locked - Lock or unlock the files so that changes can be done to them, or that they can be erased without annoying messages.
* Label - Set the lables of the files.
* Comment - Replace or append comments.
* Finder flags - Set/Clear/Toggle the hasCustomIcon, NameLocked and hasBundle bits of the files.
Subfolder scanning - Apply the changes to all the files contained in the subfolders up to a limited or infinite depth.
Advanced Filter System:
