WebLauncher is a useful dock application which allows you to open and download URLS directly from the dock.

WebLauncher can speed up your work in many ways: for example, you haven't got to wait your web browser to launch or, if you have to open an URL that you copied from a document, you can open it with a simple click instead of opening your browser, entering the URL and so on.

Limitations:
Shareware reminder at startup.
