VuMan is a Mac OS X graphical user interface to the main system of Unix software documentation, the man page.
VuMan provides a friendly interface to the Unix man page system. It links together a number of Unix command-line tools to make searching, reading, and printing man page documentation a simple task.
Here are some key features of "VuMan X11":
Clean, uncluttered interface: man pages are easy to read.
Search, browse, display, and jump to new man pages in a single window.
Print man pages.
Thorough, searchable user documentation via the "Help" menu.
What's New:
VuMan now runs as a "universal binary," with native performance on both the new Intel and legacy PPC architectures of the Mac.
VuMan now has improved portability, running as both a native Aqua application (available here) and as a Unix-style X11 application.
VuMan has a significantly redesigned interface for greater ease of use, including a sidebar to display all available man pages (the sidebar can be opened and closed as required) and drag-and-drop display of man pages.
Requirements:
X11.
