UTC Display simply displays Universal Time in a small window in any corner of your screen and/or in the Mac OS X dock icon.
UTC Display X can also display the current UTC date.
Amateur astronomers, shortwave radio listeners, and others no longer need to mentally convert between their menubar clock's standard time and Universal Time. UTC Display can automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time, and may configured for use worldwide. Its "Auto-Hide" feature keeps UTC Display from interfering with other screen items.
Here are some key features of "UTC Display X":
It’s free!
Never again convert between your menubar’s clock and Universal Time when listening to world band radio, observing astronomical events, etc.
Universal Time is displayed in an unobtrusive display window, and/or in the Mac OS X dock icon.
Display window can automatically adjust its color to match the background, or you may define the colors yourself. Select a high-contrast or low-contrast display.
Choose any corner of your screen for the time display (multiple monitor aware).
Automatic or manual adjustment for Daylight Saving Time.
Useful for any time zone worldwide.
Automatic or manual Internet Update Checking.
Customizable time display.
“Auto Hide” makes the display vanish when the mouse enters the Time Display (useful for accessing controls that may be in the same corner of your screen as the time display).
UTC Date may be displayed, in addition to time.
What's New:
Mac OS X: Dock icon time preference no longer reverts to "Display UTC" when opening the Preferences Window.
All: Various speed improvements.
