ThumbsUp is a simple, drag & drop based utility to create thumbnails for a bunch of pictures and supports all image formats of Mac OS X and Quicktime (including PDF documents).
In addition size, quality and antialiasing are configurable. Note that this utility is not intended to be an HTML thumbnail gallery generator - there are already lots of them out there.
Here are some key features of "ThumbsUp":
Extension inserted before (Prefix) or after (Suffix) the name of thumbnail files or name of subfolder where the new thumbnail files are stored
Image format of thumbnails (TIFF, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG or JPEG 2)
Note: JPEG 2 requires Mac OS X 10.4.x.
Quit when done (only if the application is launched by a drag & drop operation, otherwise the application displays the preferences panel)
Create thumbnails, thumbnails with icons or only icons for the original files
Maximal width and height of thumbnail images or scale images by percentage
Note: If you set scaling to 100%, you're able to use ThumbsUp to convert
PDF screenshots easily to other image formats
JPEG compression (the higher the quality is, the bigger the resulting files are)
No, low or high antialiasing of scaled thumbnails
Sharpen:
Light, medium, strong or no sharpening of thumbnails.
What's New:
NEW Universal binary for Intel and PowerPC Macs.
NEW French localization.
NEW ThumbsUp supports QuickTime file types added by third-party components and is able to thumbnail them (Mac OS X 10.4.x only).
Fixed Minor glitches of .nib files.
ChangedThumbsUp requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.
