Text Sucker is a utility (saved as an AppleScript droplet) for extracting the text from QuarkXPress documents. As its name implies, it requires QuarkXPress version 4.11.

Just drag-and-drop one or more XPress files on to Text Sucker's icon, and you will be given the opportunity to change some preferences (see below).

Text Sucker will then open and copy the text from each file one at a time, and save it in a text file.
