SynchPPP will automatically open a specified program, like your browser, when a PPP (modem based) internet connection is opened The power of it is that it doesn't care about how you opened or closed that connection (using the 'Remote Access Status' application, the 'Remote Access ControlStrip' module, by launching your browser, or whatever), as long as it's a PPP connection(meaning your ordinary modem connection and a few odd cable modem connections - notADSL, nor most cable connections).

The power of it is that it doesn't care about how you opened or closed that connection (using the 'Remote Access Status' application, the 'Remote Access ControlStrip' module, by launching your browser, or whatever), as long as it's a PPP connection(meaning your ordinary modem connection and a few odd cable modem connections - notADSL, nor most cable connections).

NOTE: Apple has broken some things in Mac OS 9.1. Due to that, SynchPPP does not work under Mac OS 9.1. It is possible that I will find a decent workaround, but so far I haven't.

Requirements:
Applescript must be installed
A PPP connection to the Internet.
