Stock Investment Guide (SIG) is specifically for performing the analysis used by stock investment clubs.
SIG can read and write standard .ssg file formats, create semi-logarithmic graphs of stock data, and perform a complete stock investment guide. No longer are Macintosh users forced to run expensive Windows-only software to perform stock club analysis.
With Stock Investment Guide users can input stock data by hand, or download thousands of .ssg data files from the national association for investments clubs with their online premium service.
Users can also trade .ssg files with fellow club members, even if other members use Windows.
Here are some key features of "Stock Investment Guide":
Runs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Mac OS 9. SIG is the only cross-platform solution for stock clubs!
Reads & Writes standard SSG data file formats.
Fully integrated with NAIC's OPS ssg data.
Adjustable Data Plot for Visual Analysis. Scale Pretax Income or Sales plots up or down on the graph for easy reading.
Automatically Update the Stock Price & 52-week High and Low
Omit/Ignore "outlier" data by clicking the year on the data graph.
Plots additional quarterly EPS following the last fiscal year.
If using downloaded SSG data files, displays S&P 5-year growth estimates.
Prints a sharp, 2-page analysis report with the visual analysis on the front, and the data analysis on the back.
What's New:
A small bug correct to properly handle a data field in the S&P data files provided by the NAIC. This bug prevented the first year of data from plotting on the on-screen graph, while the printout was correct.
