SignalScope is an audio signal analysis software designed to work with Mac OS X compatible audio hardware.
It functions as a spectrum analyzer as well as an oscilloscope. SignalScope was designed to make meaningful measurements with easy-to-use controls.
Here are some key features of "SignalScope":
SignalScope 1.6 added support for multi-channel audio devices
Choose from all input signal formats supported by the current audio device
Invert polarity on either input channel
User-definable full scale voltage allows for calibrated measurements
Select either channel (or both) of the audio device to be used for measurements
Units of volts
Save trace data to disk
Print to paper or PDF
Save control settings when SignalScope quits
User-definable display colors and line widths
FFT Analyzer
Turn guardbanding off to view spectral content up to the Nyquist frequency (half the sample rate)
Choose from ten possible frequency spans (dependent on the current sampling rate)
View spectra with up to 4096 lines of resolution
Linear and dB vertical scale
Auto and manual scaling of the vertical (voltage) axis
Linear and logarithmic frequency scale
Cursor for measuring frequencies and amplitudes within the spectrum
Peak track cursor function
Uniform, Bartlett, Blackman, Flat top, Hamming, Hann, and Rife-Vincent 2 data windows
Linear and exponential averaging
Peak hold averaging
Spectrogram
Choose from five possible frequency spans (dependent on the current sampling rate)
View spectra with up to 4096 lines of resolution
Uniform, Bartlett, Blackman, Flat top, Hamming, Hann, and Rife-Vincent 2 data windows
Linear and dB voltage (color) scales
Manual scaling of the horizontal (time) axis
Optional grid over spectrogram display
Selectable color schemes (choose from grayscale white-on-black or black-on-white, or use existing color preferences
Oscilloscope
Auto and manual scaling of the vertical (voltage) axis
Independent vertical offset of signal waveforms
Triggering on positive or negative slope
Automatic capture of pre-triggered data
Manual adjustment of trigger level
Independent trigger source selection for each input channel
Continuous or single shot triggering
Manual scaling of the horizontal (time) axis
Dual cursors for measuring signal periods or time between peaks
X/Y Plotter
Auto and manual scaling of both (voltage) axes.
Limitations:
30 days trial.
What's New:
SignalScope includes an updated registration engine and allows for proper cloning of multi-computer licenses.
