ScopeDriver allows you to control a Meade Autostar or LX200 astronomical telescope with your PC or Mac. An advanced 'Find' feature helps you locate tens of thousands of sky objects by Common Name, Bayer/Flamsteed designation, Constellation, and much more.
ScopeDriver includes Observing Lists, Observing Log, unlimited Observing Sites, Time Synchronization, and many others.
Limitations:
The program will run for 30 days in “demo mode,” which is fully functional.
Requirements:
Autostar with RS-232 serial port, or LX200-compatible telescope Gemini telescope controller
Mac with serial port or serial adapter.
What's New:
Instead of disabling the Object Listing during an Automated Observing Run, the listing now simply ignores mouse clicks. This should retain the selection on Windows XP.
The installer-created "Previous ScopeDriver Versions" Read Me file now uses Windows line breaks.
Installer now presents a dialog when launched explaining the actions it will take.
Updated documentation.
