Lock your screen from your keyboard...

Simply press control-command-delete, and then return, and your screen saver is envoked. If you have turned on locking of your screen saver, you won't be allowed back in until you type in your correct password. Salute simply activates the screen saver.

Other Cool Tools: If the Finder is not responding, and you need to launch Terminal or Activity Monitor to see what is going on, you can do it with Salute.
