rmtrash is a small program to move the file/folder you choose to OS X's Trash rather than obliterating the file, as rm does. This is useful in case you decide you want the file after all.
It allows you to specify a user if you wish to move the file to another user's Trash. Most useful when using sudo, so that it isn't moved to root's Trash, though you may run into problems deleting the file if you don't have permission to do so.
To install, either use sudo ./installer from this directory, or copy the rmtrash program file to where you wish, and the man page if you wish to install that, as well.
You can customize the install path with the installer by giving it the path you wish to install as an argument. E.g. sudo ./installer /usr will install it to /usr rather than to /usr/local (the default).
