rEFIt is a boot menu and maintenance toolkit for EFI-based machines like the Intel Macs. It gives you easy access to the EFI environment and serves as a hook for pre-boot applications.

What's New:
Includes a tool to synchronize the GPT and MBR partition tables.
Configuration options to trim down and customize the main menu screen.
Automatically installs generic BIOS boot code in the MBR if necessary.
There is now a 'textonly' configuration option instead of a separate binary.

Requirements:
An Intel-based Mac.
