Pick from the Windows menu to select which type of bar code to generate (only UPC A supported in this version).
Then, type the code, generate the check digit (if needed), select the bar width reduction and magnification.

Now, you can Save the barcode as a ".brcdfl" file for future use, or View the bar code in Illustrator CS.
